Custom Color Matching
Capabilities

Cascade Coatings provides custom color matching in many different products. We use the finest pigments available and can produce a tremendous variety of colors. Our typical turnaround time is 1-2 days. Quality control is a top priority at Cascade Coatings. When manufacturing colors for the industries that we serve, there is little room for error and batch-to-batch consistency is paramount. Cascade Coatings employs various methods to achieve consistency like using a gloss meter that quantifies sheen at various angles of reflection. We also use a mil-thickness or dry film thickness gauge to make sure we view the coating at the proper thickness. In addition, we use an X-Rite spectrophotometer. A spectrophotometer color eye takes a color reading and gives a color a numeric value. Using those numbers, we can adjust a color by matching the numbers of a previously approved color standard. Most importantly, we visually look at every adjustment in our Macbeth lighting booth, which provides several types of light with which to view color.

Cascade Coatings makes and stores small and large batches of liquid paint, as well as warehousing of large batches of customer made powder coatings. Cascade Coatings is a customer driven company with very fast turnaround times on liquid custom mixes.
